My main research interest is quantum gravity, in its phenomenological and theoretical aspects. In my PhD research I investigate the constraints that a quantum theory of gravity imposes on effective field theories and, in particular, on cosmology. The goal of this research is twofold: to understand how string theory, relevant at a high energy scale, influences our (lower-energy) cosmological models, and to see if cosmological observations can lead to insights on the fundamental theory of gravity.
My work can be contextualized in the Swampland program.
