Outreach activities within the PhD Programme in Physics

The PhD in Physics actively participates in the Third Mission events organized by UniCT.

Among the recent activities, we recall the participation in Sharper Night 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 during which the PhD students in Physics were engaged in the realization of Physics experiences aimed at the non-expert public at the premises of Città della Scienza.

In particular, PhD students in Physics carry out dissemination activities by offering the public small experiments proposed and carried out by themselves such as, for example, the activity "Velocità della luce e cioccolato: scienza in casa col forno a microonde" during the Sharper 2023 edition.

On the occasion of the Shaper Night 2024, the PhD students in Physics proposed the experience "Water: a laboratory at your fingertips" at Città della Scienza UniCT, stimulating the interest of quite young researchers with simple experiments to perform at home.
