Nucleon structure probed in elastic electron scattering

Description
he study of nucleon form factors is a productive avenue for development of the perturbative QCD.
With the advance of the FF measurements at JLab, the large momentum transfer data are available for all four elastic and several transition FFs.
A striking result from the flavor decomposition of the FFs is a reduction of the d quark contribution relative to that of the u quarks by a factor of 3 with an increase in the momentum transfer from 1 to 3.4 GeV2.
I will present recent results and plans for the 12-GeV era experiments.
