Prof. Luigi Amico is Honorary Professor at the University of Kent

Professor Luigi Amico, Full Professor of Physics of Matter at DFA UniCT, has been appointed the title and status of Honorary Professor in the School of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Kent, UK.

Professor Amico's research focuses on quantum statistical physics, ranging from mathematical physics and quantum information to many-body, mesoscopic physics and ultra-cold gas quantum technology. Since 2010, he is a Visiting Research Professor at the Center for Quantum Technologies (Singapore). He is presently Executive Director at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
