
Alessandro La Ferlita
Computational biologist specialized in the analysis of transcriptomic data produced by several high throughput technologies such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), microarray and Real-Time PCR, and in the analysis of proteomics and metabolomics data. Specifically, his research activity is focused on the development of new bioinformatics tools for the analysis of several classes of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) from RNA-Seq data and in the study of their involvement in several tumor types.
