Claudio Lentini
Responsabile scientifico: Maria Chiara SPADARO
Graduated from his master course at The University of Trieste on the 16/10/2020, with a thesis on the synthesis and characterization of P-doped graphitic carbon nitride for catalytic CO2 photoreduction, he obtained his PhD in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste on the 23/05/2024, with a thesis on the development and spectroscopical characterization of the electronic properties of boroxine-based thick films deposited on metal surfaces. At the present day, he’s doing a postdoctoral fellowship at the university of Catania, on the NANOSTORE project, focused on the development and characterization of supercapacitors based on ZnO nanostructures
His field of expertise is centered around the synthesis of nanostructures and nanomaterials in wet phase and and various characterization techniques, including X-ray spectroscopies (XPS and NEXAFS), time resolved spectroscopies, UV-vis absorption and UV-DRS, and in-operando characterization of the catalytic activity of photocatalysts.
