Giuliano CHIRIACÒ
I graduated in Physics from the University of Pisa and Scuola Normale Superiore in 2015 with a thesis on thermal drag in one dimensional systems under the supervision of prof. Rosario Fazio and prof. Leonardo Mazza.
I obtained my PhD from Columbia University (New York) in 2020 under the supervision of prof. Andrew Millis. I worked on non-equilibrium phase transition in correlated electronic systems and on the dynamics of photoexcited electrons. I then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at ICTP and SISSA with the group of prof. Marcello Dalmonte.
Since March 2023 I am a researcher at Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia of the University of Catania. My current research interests are the non-equilibrium dynamics of entanglement in quantum systems, the properties of light-matter systems, and the non-Markovian and noisy dynamics of many-body systems.
I am a researcher in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. I have worked on transport in one dimensional systems, on non-equilibrium transitions and photoinduced dynamics in correlated electronic systems. My current research interests include entanglement and phase transitions in hybrid light-matter systems, measurement induced transitions in many body systems and the study of non-Markovian and noisy dynamics in systems of few to many qbits.
