I Lincei, attraverso la Fondazione “I Lincei per la Scuola”, curano l’impostazione culturale e l’organizzazione generale del progetto “I Lincei per una nuova didattica nella scuola: una rete nazionale”, attraverso corsi di aggiornamento attivi su tutto il territorio nazionale, grazie alla rete di 19 Poli.
Il Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia aderisce al progetto insieme al Dipartimento di Scienze Biologiche, Geologiche e Ambientali e al Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche, con il supporto dei rispettivi Piani Lauree Scientifiche.

La scuola è organizzata a livello regionale su iniziativa dell’Università di Palermo e con il contributo dei Dipartimenti scientifici delle Università di Catania e di Messina. Si pone come obiettivo l’individuazione e il conseguente approfondimento delle conoscenze di base che sono necessarie nel campo della biologia, della chimica, della fisica e della geologia per comprendere e comunicare i contenuti fondamentali della moderna ricerca scientifica e tecnologica.
La XII edizione della Scuola, SPAIS – 2018, dal titolo “Messaggi di Scienza”, si è tenuta a Palermo dal 23 al 28 Luglio
Il Dipartimento supporta l’iniziativa tramite il Piano Lauree Scientifiche Fisica e assicurando la presenza di relatori.
